  1. Why Ottochain?

Uniqueness

Ottochain is the first consumer chain launched by Octopus Network that adopts Octopus 2.0 Interchain Security. As the first chain in this new segment of the Octopus Network ecosystem, Ottochain community members will be the first participants that new appchains will campaign to as IBC peers, potential users, and economic partners. As the first member of this new “economic zone” it is the community base, making sure that the adjacent layer 1 providing security is able to provide capital and liquidity without being the only chain that has the capability to do so. As a community chain, its’ token economics will vary from all other projects and provide capital-based incentives for participants beyond governance participation.
