# Community-Driven Governance

Octopus Nation, an independent community of Octopus Network, insure the platform evolves based on the collective wisdom and interests of its stakeholders, fostering a sense of ownership and fostering an environment where diverse perspectives are heard. While the 20-member leadership of Octopus Nation will facilitate the distribution of airdrops to the community, partners and users they are obligated to utilise the onchain tools provided by the integrated [Cosmos governance module](https://docs.cosmos.network/main/modules/gov).
